Lauren Byce, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Lauren is a warm and skilled therapist who has supported youth and adults in the hospital, school, and community sectors. She is trained in the areas of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness, and will adapt an approach that will meet her clients’ individual needs. Some of the issues she helps to navigate with clients include, anxiety, depression, anger, bullying, divorce/separation, grief/loss, self-worth/confidence, stress management, trauma, and attachment.
Lauren strives to respond to the unique needs of her clients and believes clients to be the experts of their own lives. She guides her clients through self-exploration and reflection, which helps them to increase their ability to cope with life difficulties. Lauren has assisted many individuals in improving their understanding of themselves and their relationships with others, by using an approach founded in empathy, trust, and non-judgment.
