Lauren McCabe, M.Ed, RP.

Registered Psychotherapist

Lauren has been working in the field of child and adolescent mental health for over 13 years, providing counselling and therapy to children, adolescents, parents and families. She tailors her practice to fit each of her client’s individual hopes and needs, and for that reason, her clients feel safe, understood and supported in moving toward therapeutic goals.

Lauren brings a high level of professionalism, training and skill to her work that pairs well with her warmth, thoughtfulness and humour. She is highly competent in drawing on several therapeutic modalities when working with her clients, including CBT, narrative and solution-focused therapy. She is especially well suited to treat young children (birth to 6 years old), maternal mental health, issues related to attachment, family, marital and relationship challenges, and she works with clients presenting with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotion regulation and trauma.

Education: Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Teaching Degree, License with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
