Provider/Supervision of Autism Services
For children and adolescents with a diagnosed ASD, and registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), our certified behaviour therapist can provide services including clinical supervision for behavioural services, ABA Services and CBT.
The Oak Centre carries out the following measures:
- oversees children’s programming
- ensures that programs are ethical and effective
- obtains and evaluates treatment data to analyze program effectiveness
- modifies behavioural programs as needed
- prepares programs to transition children into mainstream classrooms
- consults and advocates for the families involved
Professional Consultation
Often following an assessment, The Oak Centre is asked to consult with a school, daycare, physician or other child development agency (e.g. ROCK, the CAS) concerning treatment options and strategies to maximize a child’s potential. In these instances, our mental health professionals will lead meetings that review key findings from our assessments and the practical application of our recommendations.
Clinical Supervision
For candidates that have a high level of academic training (a minimum of a Master degree from an accredited university in an appropriate field) and experience, supervision for the purpose of professional licensure is available.
